It's true she walks.

We hope you enjoy  this crazy child as much as we do!!!

Children of The CORN!!!

I have started to warm up a little more to Texas. Theres still a deep "Ugg I can't Stand this PLACE" but every now and then it changes to "Look at how AWESOME this is!!!"
I recently came across this neat little farm about 30 miles from us and they are so wonderful that they offered us Military KinFolk a free visit!
We had so much fun we ended up making two trips out there yesterday! And guess who actually had fun.....if you guessed Tommy then you're right!!!

Our first sign that this place was going to be awesome was the "Reserved" parking spaces...If I would have seen this before we parked this would have been our spot!!!
There was one for those baldies, KOOL trucks and for someone who lost their tooth that day!!! How stinking neat is that!
Ruby wants Pa to know that this is NOT the tractor she wants....and at this point she isn't a fan of tractors!!!! Might be because it wasn't a Deere???

This was our day trip, Ruby loved playing on the Hay and running as far away from us as she could!
The night trip came with a friend, we forced Franko out (yes thats his real name FRANKO)! The boys grabbed their bags of Kettel Corn, Question & Answer Sheets and we made our way into the Maize!!!

Pit Stop anyone???

We made it out alive all thanks to Frankos' Army training and his Kettel Corn theory!!!
And in case you didn't know Kettel Corn can kill anything from aliens to killer scorpions and poisons snakes!!!!

And this was the awesome "Pillow". Ruby wasn't to thrilled at first but warmed up and just loved it! It was basically a giant bubble full of air that you could jump on!!!

We had a blast both times. We are excited to go again at the end of October and pick out a pumpkin for Little Miss!

The Walking Dead!!!

15 months....it took Little Miss 15 months to finally get on the Walking Bandwagon!!! This video is just practicing with Daddy but on her 15 month birthday she took off on her own. Now she wont stop walking and is a little comedian about it!!! She likes to take dish towels and place them over her face and walk around "Blinded"....last night she found the wall!

We recently went to Pee Wee Bees and Ruby had a blast and this Mommy got some adult conversation!!!! We are hoping to go back soon and will have more pictures!

No Camera.....but Hill Country!!!

Saturday was ment to be "Rescue Camera Day!" Instead it became a perfect beautiful date day for Tommy and I. Ruby was in great hands with Ms. Tiffany and we were off to Fredericksberg.
As usual I had the directions and I also had a husband who gets frustrated when he doesn't know EXACTLY where we are going...or hasn't been there before, for some reason he doesn't believe anything exsist unless he's been there before??? Yes he's odd like that, and we were off to Willow City Loop.
Now let me tell you it's nothing like whats advertised, I expected a little information house with some maps and people with information.....HA! We got a sign that said "Willow City Loop Next Left", so as the sign said we turned left and drove straight (the only way to go, no option to turn left or right) and came to an open gate that said PRIVATE PROPERTY. This set Tommy off on a "The Woman Knows Nothing Mood"....but we concluded as long as no one came out with shotguns we would continue on the road!!! And good thing we did.......turns out we were on the right road!!!

We had such a blast, the road is 13 miles long and it's set up that you are driving through peoples property...their personal farms!!! We are looking forward to going next year when all the flowers are in bloom. This place is just so neat and BEAUTIFUL, we saw at least a dozen deer a few cows and had a calf scream "MOO" at me to leave him be, and to top it off I got to see mother nature at her best...an owl coming down for the kill and taking off with a snake!!!
And isn't this gate the coolest.......Uncle Jimmy I think I found what you need to get into next???

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby!!!

So we've taken the camera back out and been trying our best to capture Ruby at her BEST! She has become fascinated with putting things in things, this past week it was putting Cheerios down Daddy's pants! I believe more went down his pants than in her mouth...not a waste though cause Blu got fed in the process when he was placed on Clean-Up Duty!
Now we will move onto the "Ruby Makes Wierd Faces" section of the blog!!!

Not only have we mastered the "Funny Faces" but she's also mastered the "Crazy Hair"! This is something new we learned....when the camera comes out do anything but smile!!!
Hope you all enjoy!!!

June & Who

June is off to the doctors! I knew this day would come and it was a rather sad yet joyous day! See June is getting up there in age so this means only one thing...a New, Younger June is needed.
This lovely lady doesn't have a name yet, we'll take suggestions. She's an 09' Nissan Pathfinder with just a tad over 43,000 miles! This Mommy was very happy to take her home. She has a lot more room and is just 100% better than our Xterra. The Xterra after she's fixed will belong to Tommy and the Pathfinder will be the Ruby & Mommy Taxi!

And the sweet thing...that Ill never use....she's both Automatic & Manual!!!
We can't wait for our first road trip in her!!!
