Ruby is making her way into the face painting world.
We were suppose to be painting a pumpkin but got a little off task...but they says that happens with toddlers!!!

She was very focused, I was told it was a Princess Face...but I'm not so sure!

This was the end masterpiece, besides my face!!!

Pumpkins & Christmas trees?

Ruby, Daddy & I made our way out to Devine Acres Farm...a christmas tree farm...for the day on saturday! We all had a blast and I am most certain that once Tommy is out of the Navy his first purchase will be a Goat , not a house or civilian clothes....just a goat!!!
Then right after the goat is purchased he will find us a house with a giant yard for the goat and a few more goats.
Ruby is madly in love with then and wanted so badly to bring them home. Shes a sucker for them...ducks not so much, I guess that runs in the family since her father tried to de-bill one once upon a time!
These two were fighting the entire time....reminded me of Beth & I when I'm trying to clean the house and she does everything in her power to randomly drop her stuff EVERYWHERE!!!!
Ruby was also a big fan of the donkey and at one point tried to take his eye out.

Another thing Tommy will have to buy is Hay, if hay is around this kid will be going nowhere!!!
Tommy had to wrestle her out of there, next to bread hay is the greatest invention ever to this kid!
And I will not brag.....oh wait I will!!!
I have the most adorable Little Miss Ever!!! She melts our heart everyday, I don't think we can find a cuter kid....she's going to have competition soon when her little brother or sister arrive in March!!!

Pumpkins

It was Pumpkin Painting time if Florida...everyone came together for Grandpas 80th and had a blast!!
The kids were more excited when they found out painting and pumpkins would be involved in the festivities!!!
Logan picked himself a white pumpkin and I picked out the others!

Ruby colored hers with hands and her paintbrush....then colored everyone else and the plants!
Jaylin made a witch and finished her off with a MOLE!!!
We returned to Texas and forced Daddy out of the house to find one to paint....I think he had a good time painting with Little Miss Picaso!!!

Bath time was a bit of a fight filled with screams and clawing our way out of the tub!!!
But she is now clean and taking a nap!!!

An awesome family weekend I will say, next blog will be filled with farm photos!!!

Teething Neckalce!!!

I searched HIGH and LOW in Florida for this neckalce!!!
Baltic Amber is where it's at, so happy to have it and praying it helps these molars might kill both of us here soon!!!
We also got a new diaper rash cream that in 1 treatment cleared her right up!
We also researched into renting prefolds for the new baby and concluded we can't go into that shop again without a fully loaded bank card!!!

Hair Cut Time

The time finally came for Ruby to get a hair cut, just so she could see, and what a blast she had!
She finally has come to enjoy getting her hair brushed so she partly sat still, but she wasn't to sure about those scissors!!!

She did very well and she can see without putting he hair into a ponytail!!!

Uncle Andy

Now most of you know I come from a military family and I have now started my own military family. As a military child you don"t always get to see much of your blood family; Aunts, Uncles, Cousin< & Grandparents, so sometimes you just add random people to your family. I had an Uncle Bob and Aunt Debbie and my little sister had an extra set of parents.
As I grew older I came across and awesome family who took me in....The Sokolowski's!!! As Laura, the mom of the clan, would say I was one of her kids that "Just walked out!" Her kids had kids and I soon became "Aunt Apple" and I loved my job title...although I think Logan would sometimes like to kick me out of the family.
Well at somepoint all their kids added my family to the list...my mom became "Aunt Kappy", my husband "Uncle Tommy" and Beth became "Aunt Beffie".
Andy wasn't around much and they didn't really know who he was....so it was a huge surprise when I came home to visit and heard this story!

Logan was getting ready for bed and so was his mom, I think it was teeth brushing time when he started to stare at himself in the mirror! He asked Amber
"Mom do I look like Uncle Andy?"
She was a tad lost and asked him again and his same question was "Do I look like Uncle Andy?" Still confused she asked him "Whose Uncle Andy?" his response "Aunt Apples brother, Uncle Andy."
Of course she told him "No" but he came back with a "I think I look like him!"

After I heard the story I had to ask him...."Logan why do you think you look like Uncle Andy"
The smartest kid I know came back at me with this...
"I sleep like him!!!"

This is Logan best Uncle Andy face.

He is the best Zombie ever!!!

I always get a kick out of what this kid says....I think he's only seen my brother 4 times in his little life!!! I think Andy made a huge impact in those 4 visits!!!!
