27+1

It happens every year, I demanded it to stop last year but it came back this year...my birthday!
I'm still 27 in case you were wondering.
It was a beautiful birthday, I scored a sweet deal on a stroller & bouncer for Jake and the husband made a surprise birthday cake!
My sweet Little Mr Thomas has given me the best gift of all...he has just taken off with his words this past week and even making sentences! I know for most that may sound like nothing but the battles we have fought in this house for the past year trying to communicate make this the best gift ever!
"Mommy I want car" are the sweetest words ever.
My favorite is when he tries to say his name "Thomy" and he's also mastered his brothers name "Jake"!
But he's a photo recap of the cake making.

Tommy let Ruby help...she loved helping, but I now have no more blue food coloring!

Or silver sprinkles!!!!

These days I feel this stand suites me...

We went out to dinner at the Corvette Diner, it was a blast.

The kids just loved the air hockey table. Ruby scored a feel goals for Thomas, he was pretty happy and I'm certain she helped him win the game!

Thomas just feel in love with the racing game!!! All his baby toddler dreams came true, if he had a knife he would've murdered us when we took him away!
They each played 4 different races.

Kids got milkshakes and Mommy got a stiff drink, and I'm certain they put a few extra shots of vodka in it!!!!

Balloon Butterflies and Balloon Racecars!!!!
Seriously life doesn't get much better at 2 & 3 years old!

My surprise cake!!! I told him I wanted a Bell cake and the store didn't have one so he was going to get be a Cinderella one and I said NO!!!
So he had to make one, because they didn't have Bell and he wasn't about to spend a "Tank of Gas" on a cake for me.
All day I was worried as I saw blue icing and silver sprinkles...but to my surprise I got my Bell cake!
I'll be expecting a cake every year now.

And to finish my birthday week Ruby and I painted pine cones today. She's been begging all week to do this and I finally cracked today! They will join the million other pine cones she has scattered around the house!

Strollers, yoga & parks

It's been another fun week! With battling toddlers over eating their favorite foods to fighting a stroller!
We had tried to enjoy every second and when we couldn't we just bought flowers...cause really flowers fix everything, especially in Ruby's world!!!

I'm so bummed with this picture, I should've had my camera on hand because no one will believe me!
When I first brought Jake outside both kids were in the stroller and as I walked out the door Thomas reached both his arms towards me and said "Here, here!". I asked if he wanted to hold Jake and he said yes, he held him for roughly 30 seconds then wanted to give him up!
It was the most adorable 30 seconds this house has seen in a long time!

Ruby loves her flowers! She so badly wanted to buy roses this week but she didn't have enough money, and this mommy wanted to some tulips, so I offered to buy 1 bunch of tulips if she bought another!
She of course picked out the pink ones, she has some chores to do this week to be able to buy more flowers next weekend.

Jake loves doing his Baby Yoga!

I made homemade White Cheddar Mac-n-Cheese last night and Thomas loved about 9 bites of it!
I'll take that, next time I'll try different noddles for him.

The older hoodlems and I took off for the park this morning, they had a blast as usual! Ruby got burnt on the slide and Thomas found about 10,047 ants!!!

Hope you all enjoyed your week.
Praying this week is beautiful and go ahead and have some chocolate, cause who doesn't love some chocolate!?!

Books, Books, Books

I have a weakness for kids books!!!
And it all started with a wonerful lady named Lisa! Met her at a children's resale event and I've been hooked ever seen!
I've personally earned her way to much money and I should just sell them myself but that is something I'm still thinking about.
I've had about 3-4 shows via her now and have a huge variety of these books in our house...and some are for me and not the kids!

I squealed when this box showed up today, I had to shove the children out of the way so I could peak without them! And there were a few birthday books in there!

The books they are admiring are Ruby's new Wipe Clean books! I purchased the set and can't wait for her to sit down and enjoy them!

This is the stash they got from my recent park! I Only paid $77 for all these, the Wipe Clean set was $49 by itself!

I'm so excited about the Wizard of Oz and that Noisy Castle book is to stinking cute!!! I'll be ordering more of that series soon!
Please go have a look for yourself...a look at these amazing books!!!

These are the Wipe Clean Books, if you have a toddler these are great especially if they are getting close to preschool time!

To finish this post off I present you Gmas Easter gift...Jake is thrilled about it!
We were complimented of these adorable shirts at the park!
Jake has been teething something nasty so that's the reason for the grumpy face and wet onsie!!!

Swings and Mac-n-Cheese

We are taking advantage of California while we are here and getting out to see this state...to the best that we can.
Sunday we went out to Coronado for a wonderful park and went to a what we though was a simple little restaurant.
But before we could take off Jake and Rascal took their afternoon nap...yep adorable again!

Thomas doesn't do well with a ton of people around...it's just the way he is, our own personal introvert!
But he just adores the swings, so most of our time was spent at the swings.

That Face!!!!!!!!

I found a wonderful little burger place, but there wasn't enough room for Tommy to be comfortable taking three kids in!
So he said "Let's go check out that Leroys place, it seemed simple and they have outdoor seating!"
We get there, can't get beer if you sit outside and a kids Mac-n-cheese was $9...we were committed and just had to stay at that point!

Tommy enjoyed a Belching Beaver beer, Thomas smashed his $9 mac-n-cheese and well this Mom just sat back and watched the dollars fall on the floor and get thrown around the place (Thomas is great at flinging food!)

It was a nice little place though, very welcoming to the small people for being a fancy spot to eat.
The kids enjoyed it and loved the waiter...and the waiter enjoyed Tommys sense of "I have children" humor!
The waiter offered whiskey for the kids, but we were certain some people would frown upon that so we kindly declined!
It was good fun all around!

To finish the night the children were forced into hard labor by cleaning up their toys...which means placing them in our mouths and walking them to the bin!
How do you clean up in your home???

Making and Baking

Ruby cracked open an egg on Easter that had a Cupcake Cookbook in it and this weekend we baked Butterfly and Ladybug cupcakes!

She had such a blast and they actually turned out pretty good!

The kids are on a mission to make birthday cards for everyone this year!!!
This weekend Mommy brought out the paint...may have been a bad idea!

If you by chance get a card that has very little paint on it...it's probably because Thomas ate most of your paint! It's the thought that counts right???

If you'd like to receive an adorable crazy kid decorated card from these wild Littles please send us your birthday and address!!!

Silly week

I'm just going to overload you with irresistible cuteness!!!
And I'm not going to say sorry...cause seriously I make some cute babies!
It's been a slow week since Easter, we've spent it enjoying out gifts and just being silly.

If you ever wondered what it was like to live with Thomas...well it's rather entertaining! He's the kid who will have Tommy and I on our toes until the day we die, and then I'm most certain we'll be panicking in the afterlife over him!
We are his favorite jungle gym...along with anything that can cause him major harm!

For what we thought was Jake's safety we brought the pack-n-play downstairs for his daily naps. Foolish idea on Moms part, the other toe find it to be the coolest hangout spot in the house!
Below is Ruby feeding her "puppy" dog!!!

I have decided to keep Tommy around, every now and then he's pretty good and calming the Littles in the house!

Thomas really does like to tangle with Danger, we still aren't sure how he's made it to 2+ years without being mauled by the cat! These two are just best friends, no matter the situation!!!

The Littlest Mr. is a spitting image of his sister here.

Very rarely can we get Thomas to stop and snuggle, but when is it does happen it's pretty darn cute!
