Uncle Andy

Now most of you know I come from a military family and I have now started my own military family. As a military child you don"t always get to see much of your blood family; Aunts, Uncles, Cousin< & Grandparents, so sometimes you just add random people to your family. I had an Uncle Bob and Aunt Debbie and my little sister had an extra set of parents.
As I grew older I came across and awesome family who took me in....The Sokolowski's!!! As Laura, the mom of the clan, would say I was one of her kids that "Just walked out!" Her kids had kids and I soon became "Aunt Apple" and I loved my job title...although I think Logan would sometimes like to kick me out of the family.
Well at somepoint all their kids added my family to the list...my mom became "Aunt Kappy", my husband "Uncle Tommy" and Beth became "Aunt Beffie".
Andy wasn't around much and they didn't really know who he was....so it was a huge surprise when I came home to visit and heard this story!

Logan was getting ready for bed and so was his mom, I think it was teeth brushing time when he started to stare at himself in the mirror! He asked Amber

"Mom do I look like Uncle Andy?"

She was a tad lost and asked him again and his same question was "Do I look like Uncle Andy?" Still confused she asked him "Whose Uncle Andy?" his response "Aunt Apples brother, Uncle Andy."

Of course she told him "No" but he came back with a "I think I look like him!"

After I heard the story I had to ask him...."Logan why do you think you look like Uncle Andy"

The smartest kid I know came back at me with this...

"I sleep like him!!!"

He is the best Zombie ever!!!

I always get a kick out of what this kid says....I think he's only seen my brother 4 times in his little life!!! I think Andy made a huge impact in those 4 visits!!!!
