Road Trip to California

We finally caved and invested into a minivan, you really can't blame us. After a 40+ hour drive from California to Texas with two small children in carseats it was needed...now if only we bought one before our trip!
We made the crazy trip, which the drive there wasn't to bad at all...it was the drive home! Tips for I-10 road trips, bring 5 extra gallons of gas with you, I don't know where you'll store them but you might just need them. Bring entertainment...Texas, Arizona and whatever other state you drive through WILL be boring...there is nothing to look at, I promise!!! Pack lots of water, you will probably need it!!!
