I'm just going to start your day off with an overload of Jake From State Farm cuteness!!!
We ventured out this weekend and found a sweet little park, Felicita Park, it was just perfect for us.
Thomas does not do well in crowds, thus going out always leads to stressed parents, but we NEED to get out every now and then.
They had a sweet little park and swings...all 4 of my "kids" had a blast.
Jake, his royal sweetness, relaxed in the swings...it gave a little relief from the nasty teeth.
Tommy managed to sneak in a quick workout...don't think the Navy will consider this weekly pt though!?!
We found a tree with a lovely ant trail. It had rained the previous two days and there was small puddles of water throughout the tree...bugs were everywhere and Thomas was on cloud nine!
What made me fall in love with this place...the itty bitty creek! Told Tommy he will have to find me a place that has a creek when he retires.
The park was full of giant rocks and boulders...

Tommy "Sorry buddy can't take any of these home, they're a little to big!"
Five seconds later he finds a rock to take home...silly daddy, don't ever challenge a kid!

It was just beautiful. The kids had a blast, we searched for rocks, flowers, bugs and hi-copters (Thomas language for helicopters). We had zero meltdowns and even enjoyed a pleasant dinner afterwards.
It has got to be the best trip out since we've moved to California and I can't wait to go back.
