My Princess

I am a Mother...Today I am thankful for that.
Before Ruby entered my life my days were spent lounging on the couch and before marriage they were spent working!
It was awesome...I fit into everything, well everything from size 0-1, my hair was always done and toes always had a fresh coat of paint on them!!!
I keep up with hair cuts, shaved my legs and had time to read a whole book in less than a week...

Today is a different story...
I still lounge on the couch, but now its spent watching Super Why, Veggie Tales & Dinosaur Train...
Work...I wish, 1. I don't want to pay for child care and deal with a sick kid 24/7, and all my money would go towards child care...2. I sometimes enjoy spending 24/7 with my daughter and knowing she always has a parent to turn to
What do I fit into...nothing...well yoga pants if that counts...and I will say that sometime I wear the same clothes 2 days in a row ( I do change the undies though)
My hair hates me with a passion...one word HARDWATER!!! That and it doesn't get washed that often...taking a shower while a toddler is running in and out of the bathroom is kind of annoying and they seem to be very short!!!
My poor toes haven't been painted in over a month, they are still "Summer" toes...I need to change to a fall color here really soon.
And books...I think I've started Kurt Vonneguts book over 4 times because I keep forgetting what has happened in it since I last opened it!!!

Never in my life did I think I would turn into this woman...I was determined to take a shower everyday, do my hair, keep the house clean...and gosh darn it have beautiful looking ToeNails!!!
But I guess giving all that up was worth it...Ruby doesn't judge me for not taking a shower in 3 days...there has been many occasions where we've both worn the same clothes for 2 days or so!
She is my biggest fan and I love her to death...I pray she'll survive when her brother shows up and we end up wearing the same clothes for 4 days in a row!!!!
