Eggs

I've come to realize that as much as it sucks to be an adult/parent that it sometimes has its perks!!!
Being a kid at Easter and other holidays is pretty awesome, but to be the parent is truly the best.
Thomas woke up first and as Butler House Rules everyone has to go down stairs together, so we were forced to wake up Little Miss Princess...her first words were
"Why are we awake so early?"

Tommy and I had a blast the night before hiding all kinds of wonderful eggs, we had colorful eggs, bug eggs, princess eggs and even dragon eggs!

Both kids were so excited to see what was in them, Ruby was on cloud nine with all her new butterflies and bugs. Thomas ran to get his piggy bank to put all his coins in.

Tommy saw the giant Easter Eggs at Hobby Lobby last month and just had to have them! So instead of filling baskets with goodies we filled the giant Easter Eggs, they got new toothbrushes & toothpaste, bubble guns, clothes, bug catcher and stickers.

My sweet Littles are so very blessed with talented family members!
Gma made them each a basket for Easter, we had ones like these when we were little so it was a wonderful treat when they showed up at our front door!

Rascal also got in on the fun, or the baskets!!!
Last Easter was spent on the road so this was a real treat for us, and having both kids somewhat aware of the whole "hunt" for eggs thing.
I'm looking forward to Christmas this year and each holiday as they come! The joy on the Littles faces is just priceless.
