Bugs, Bacon & Birthdays!!!

We spent our weekend in Santa Monica visiting family, it was a rough one for all of us but we made the best of it! Many lessons were learned and lands were explored, we conquered carousels and chased bugs!!!

We took on the carousels and the one who defeated it was Ruby, all Thomas wanted to do was to ride it but once it started moving all he wanted was to get off.

Our only goal in visiting L.A./ Santa Monica has been to see Kevin Bacon...well we found him, sadly he was stuck to the ground!!! I have faith we'll see him in human form before we leave this "wonderful" state!!!

We also found our own personal "Ruby" star! She just loved dancing on all the stars.

We spent a good chunk of the afternoon at the park...Ruby and Thomas aerated the rose bushes, they'll be looking beautiful in no time at all!

We also found the most adorable lady bug that Thomas just fell in love with! He takes after his cousin Jaylin in the bug department...this boy loves everything wheels & bugs!

I spent today finishing up gift wrapping and "deconstructing" Thomas's birthday cake!

I'm certain he'll love it and all his gifts!
